Sometimes even a Peacemaker has to slap the bad guys upside the head to get them to listen to reason.

Two hundred years after the first settlers land on the planet Corona, the colonists face a nightmare situation. Natives have been reported, and colonizing an inhabited planet is prohibited.

Threatened with relocation, Coronans rebel to defend‐at all cost—the only home they've ever known. When an explosion leaves a cloud of ions in place of his star ship, stranding Peacemaker, Commander Gus Colt, on the planet, he survives a crash landing and escapes the rebels but is critically injured getting away. Natives deliver him to a loyalist widow's farm for medical treatment, where he falls in love with her and unintentionally draws her into danger.

If Colt is to stop the fighting and bring the bad guys to justice, he must identify the real perpetrator, discover the secret to the natives, and protect the woman he loves. It's a life or death struggle that will take all his wits, audacity, and raw determination.

About Gordon Savage

I began composing science fiction when I was about nine — my daydreams. An Army recruiting poster with a "true" spaceship against a starry backdrop stirred my soul. From then on I told myself stories focused on outer space. Over the years I read every piece of science fiction I could: Heinlein, Asimov, Clarke. Eventually Poul Anderson became my guiding light. I suspect that one of his short stories, "A Live Coward," inspired Peacemaker, in which wits and daring are more important than fighting ability.

Cancer Survival Information Book

From the doctors who brought you "Coping with Prostate Cancer," Drs. Seiden and Bilett explain BPH - Benigh Prostatic Hypertrophy and the differences between the conditions, what to look for and what can be done about them.

Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy, often called BPH, refers to enlargement of the prostate gland in men. It is also referred to as adenofibromyomatous hyperplasia, and is found in most men to some degree after the age of 45. Unfortunately most men will suffer some degree of BPH once they reach middle age or older. Enlarging prostatic growth usually begins at approximately age 30 years in otherwise healthy men, and an estimated 50% of men have evidence of BPH by age 50 years, and 75% by age 80 years. In only about 40% to 50% of these patients, does BPH become clinically significant.

Between 350,000 to 400,000 men a year in the United States will require some form of treatment to relieve their urinary obstruction caused by BPH.

Fortunately today this treatment offers options not available before the past two decades. Until the 1990s surgery was the primary treatment and radiation was coming into its prime. Today, there is quite effective medical treatment for this disorder.

It should be noted and emphasized that having BPH does NOT mean a man is more or less likely to get prostate cancer. BPH is not cancer and is in no way related physically or structurally to cancer. They are two very different diseases. Learn what you can do to improve your symptoms and live more comfortably. Learn the difference between the symptoms of BPH and Prostate Cancer. Become an informed patient so that you can help your doctor help you to live a much more comfortable life!

A Keepsake Book

As a preacher, the good Reverend John Craig has preached for over 60 years in over 300 churches in Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma and Texas. He has been able to share his wit and wisdom with hundreds of thousands of people.

You'd probably not believe this amazing orator was born tongue tied, but he was. That and many other very unusual life circumstances molded him into the man who can share a Gospel of Hope and a Life of Love to all he comes in contact with.

Famous for his "Craigisms" - unique sayings that paint a way of looking at life that is uniquely his own, John tells a story like no one else.

This first edition of this autobiography will be launched on the celebration of the Reverend John Odra Craig, Jr.'s 85th birthday.
